How to make Avocado Tomato Salad:

  • Wash the tomatoes, dry them and cut them into pieces. Put them in a bowl.

  • Peel and cut the onion. To make this avocado and tomato salad you can use another type of onion that you like.
  • If you want to serve individual salads, we recommend taking a round mold. Thus, place a layer of tomato and press it a little with a spoon. You can add a pinch of salt.
  • Put a layer of avocado on top and lightly press again.
  • Place the onion on top of the avocado and, again, press down a bit.
  • Cut the cheese, which can be goat or feta or another that you like, and place the pieces on top of the onion. The avocado, tomato and cheese salad is just as delicious with blue cheese, so you can also try this version. Also, instead of using the whole cheese you can make a blue cheese sauce and serve it at the end. We give you several ideas so you can choose the one you want!
  • Prepare the dressing to enhance the flavor of this tomato and avocado salad. To do this, put a splash of oil, the lemon juice and, if you want, a little salt in a bowl or jar, and beat it a bit so that everything is mixed. You can put a little vinegar, but with cheese and anchovies we do not recommend it.
  • Remove the ring from the plate, open the cans of anchovies, drain the oil a little, put some strips on top of the cheese, add a little pepper and add a little of the previous dressing. Clever! This avocado and tomato salad recipe that we propose is that easy and delicious. As we have mentioned, you can substitute the anchovies for tuna and place it on top of the cheese. You can also add basil if you want to give the salad a more aromatic and fresh touch.
  • Tip: If it is more comfortable for you, you can mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl and add the dressing at the end
