  4. 100 grams of tagliatelle
  5. 2 cloves of garlic
  6. 1 sachet of vegetable broth
  7. 1 teaspoon paprika
  8. 1 teaspoon cumin

How to make Beans with Reins:

  •  Prepare the legumes by letting them soak in water for a day before cooking. Strain the beans and wash them under running water. Bring them to a boil in a large pot with approximately 3 liters of water.
  •  Cut the onion into cubes and fry it with a little salt and cumin, stirring constantly.
  •  Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and pour it into the pot along with the onion and beans. Add salt, cumin, chopped garlic, pepper, paprika and vegetable broth. Stir well and cook for an hour over medium heat, or until the beans are soft.
  •  When the beans are soft, take the noodles and cut them into 3 parts with your hands before adding them to the pot. Let the broth cook for 10 minutes over low heat or until you see that the noodles are already done.
  •  It should look like this, with just enough broth to keep the ingredients submerged. If at any point you see the water starting to dry up, you can add an additional cup, but make sure it’s freshly boiled so you don’t interrupt the cooking process.
  •  Once you have turned off the heat, let stand for about 10 minutes and serve the beans with reins while they are hot.
