Pomegranate and Walnut Salad Recipe

The pomegranate is an autumn fruit that provides us with a lot of water and has a high  antioxidant power. Ingredients to make Pomegranate Walnut Salad:

  • 250 grams of fresh spinach
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 1 handful of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 grenade unit
  • ½ unit of Orange
  • 30 grams of feta cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 jet of oil
  • 1 splash of white wine vinegar

How to make Pomegranate Walnut Salad:

To make the pomegranate and walnut salad, we have to gather all the ingredients. In a salad bowl, place the spinach, the walnuts and the peeled pumpkin seeds. The spinach comes already washed. Chop the feta cheese and add it. Feta cheese is a slightly salty fresh cheese; if you don’t have it you can substitute any other of these characteristics.

We shell the pomegranate. To do this, we cut the fruit in half and, with the help of a spoon; we hit each half until all the grains come out. Add the pomegranate to the salad and dress with orange juice, olive oil, a splash of vinegar and a pinch of salt.

The pomegranate and walnut salad is ready! Enjoy this light salad at lunchtime and accompany it with grilled chicken with lemon for a 100% healthy meal.
