Ingredients to make Beans with ground beef:

  1. 250 grams of cooked black beans
  2. 20 grams of Bacon or bacon
  3. 4 units of Chorizo
  4. 60 grams of white onion
  5. 1 unit of long onion
  6. 3 units of Tomato
  7. 1 unit of red pepper
  8. 150 grams of ground meat
  9. 1 teaspoon fresh coriander
  10. 1 teaspoon paprika
  11. 1 teaspoon Cumin
  12. 1 teaspoon of oregano
  13. 3 bay leaves
  14. 1 teaspoon Thyme
  15. 1 cup of Piloncillo or panel
  16. 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
  17. 1 pinch of salt
  18. 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Beans with Ground Beef:

  • The first step to make the recipe for beans with meat is to prepare the ingredients.
  • Remember that the first thing you should do is soak the beans in water the night before to leave them soaking for 24 hours. Once the time has passed, take them to a pressure cooker and cook until they are soft. You must reserve the water from cooking the beans, as this will be the basis of our recipe.
  • Bring a pan to medium heat and, once hot, add a tablespoon of sunflower oil. Add the finely chopped onions and the finely diced tomato. Sauté for a few minutes.
  • Add salt, black pepper and garlic paste to taste.
  • Add the diced red pepper and sauté well the soffit base of the recipe for beans with meat.
  • Add the ground beef and integrate it well into the sauce. Sauté for a few minutes and add salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Add the chorizo ​​in small squares as shown in the photograph, the bacon also chopped and integrate these ingredients well.
  • Add the cumin, paprika and oregano to the ingredients. Mix well and taste, if you want you can add a little more of any ingredient that you like.
  • Add in a deep pot the black beans cooked with their respective cooking broth and the sauce from the previous step with the rest of the ingredients. Add the bay leaves and thyme and keep the stew of beans with meat over low heat.
  • Finally, add the piloncillo or panel to the bean stew. The amount of this ingredient depends on the taste of each person, so you can add more or less than what is indicated in the ingredients. Keep the preparation for approximately 15 minutes and it will be ready to serve.
  • Serve the beans with ground beef recipe by adding fresh cilantro on top of each plate. You can accompany the stew with white rice or a fresh salad.
