Ingredients to make Red Wine Beans:
- For 4 people:
- 200 g of beans.
- 1 onion.
- 2 cloves (very fragrant spice).
- 200 g of meat for stew.
- 20g of butter.
- 15g of flour.
- 1 glass of red wine.
- 1 glass of water.
How to make Red Wine Beans:
- Soak the beans the night before.
- Thread the cloves into the onion and dice the meat.
- Toast the flour in the butter as if we were going to make a béchamel sauce.
- Add the meat to the mixture of flour and butter, 1 glass of wine and 1 glass of water.
- Add the onion with the two cloves and let it cook for half an hour.
- When the sauce is thick, add the beans with the soaking water and cook for 2 hours.
- In this recipe, if we make it in a pressure cooker, ½ hour of cooking the beans is more than enough.
