Ingredients to make Three Cheese Rice:
- 2 cup(s) rice
- 50 g Chanco cheese
- 50 g sweet cheese
- 50 g Gruyère cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1 lt broth
- 1 small onion(s)
- Nutmeg
- salt and pepper to taste
How to make Three Cheese Rice:
- Chop the onion finely. In a saucepan melt the butter, add the onion and the rice, brown for a few minutes.
- Cook the rice gradually adding the broth.
- Meanwhile cut the three types of cheese into small squares, melt them lightly with a little butter, in a saucepan and sprinkle with nutmeg.
- When the rice is ready, add the melted cheeses, salt and pepper to taste and mix very well.
- Serve immediately hot.
