Follow the steps that we teach you and enjoy this salad with prawns, pineapple and colored spirals, although you can actually prepare them with the type of short pasta you prefer.
Ingredients to make Pasta Salad with Pineapple and Prawns:
- 500 grams of pasta spirals
- 200 grams of peeled prawns, shrimps or prawns (fresh, frozen or cooked)
- 8 slices of natural pineapple or in syrup
- 1 fresh mango
- 1 handful of mixed green shoots
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 handful of peas or peas
- 1 package of fresh mushrooms
- 2 cans of prickly pear in olive oil
- 1 bottle of pink sauce
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Pineapple Shrimp Pasta Salad:
First of all, cook the pasta spirals in a pot with water and a pinch of salt for about 8-10 minutes or so. Once cooked, drain them, cool them under water to stop cooking, open a can of tuna, pour a little oil on top, mix and set aside.
Trick: This way we will prevent the pasta from continuing to cook and sticking together.
Meanwhile, wash and cut the mushrooms into slices and sauté them in a pan with a little of the oil from the tuna cans. Also, cook the peas in a separate pot with plenty of water, then drain and reserve.
Tip: You can have or buy the peas already cooked if you want.
Prepare the fruits and vegetables for the shrimp, pineapple and pink sauce salad by washing the green shoots, cutting the tomato into slices, and peeling and cutting the pineapple into small pieces and the mango into small squares.
Tip: Add other green leaves, fruits or vegetables that you like
At the last moment, sauté the peeled prawns in a frying pan with a bit of the oil from the canned tuna and set aside. You can also use prawns or shrimp in the pasta salad with shrimp and pineapple.
Tip: If they are already cooked, skip this step. You can sprinkle some minced garlic and chopped parsley if you like.
Mix all the reserved ingredients together with the well-drained canned tuna and serve your pineapple and shrimp pasta salad with a little pink sauce on top. Take advantage!
