The light chicken salad is a dish that you can serve as a starter or even as a main course.  It is a perfect fresh preparation to include in your diet menu.

Ingredients to make Light Chicken Salad:

  • 400 grams of skinless chicken breast
  • 1 unit of Tomato
  • 1 unit of red paprika
  • 1 unit of lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

How to make Light Chicken Salad:

Get all the ingredients ready to prepare the light chicken salad.

Put a little cold water in a container and add a tablespoon of vinegar to the chopped lettuce (cut with your hands), we do this to disinfect the lettuce.

Separately, cut the tomato into hulls, the paprika into strips and the chicken into medium squares.

Put a little oil in a very hot pan and add the chicken squares, let them sauté for about 5 minutes and add the minced garlic, oregano, salt and black pepper.

Let cook for about five to ten more minutes. Once the chicken is ready, turn off the heat in the pan and reserve until all the pieces are cold. Remove the lettuce from the water with vinegar and wash it. Let drain.

In a deep plate put a bed of lettuce, then a little paprika in strips and finally a little tomato. On top add the chicken. And ready! Now you can enjoy your light salad.
