Lamb’s lettuce, also known as watercress, field lettuce or catnip, is a wild plant that grows near water tributaries. Ingredients to make Lamb’s lettuce and chicken salad:
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 medium avocado
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes
- 1 bunch of fresh basil
- 1 bunch of Canons
- 150 grams of cooked Fusilli
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 pinch of olive oil
- 1 pinch of garlic paste
- 1 glass of white wine
How to make Lamb’s lettuce and chicken salad:
To be able to make the green salad recipe, buy and list the ingredients. In a deep bowl add the basil leaves, the lamb’s lettuce and the cooked fusilli. Mix the ingredients well.
Tip: You can use any other type of pasta if you don’t have fusilli.
To cook the chicken, bring a skillet to medium heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken breast with salt, black pepper and garlic paste.
Add the cherry tomatoes cut in half, add the white wine and let the ingredients keep for a few more minutes. Rectify flavor and, if you wish, add any more ingredients to your liking. Remove the chicken and tomatoes from the heat and allow them to cool so you can continue preparing the healthy salad.
In the deep bowl where you have the rest of the ingredients, add the avocado cut into squares and the sautéed chicken with the cherry tomatoes. Mix well so that all the ingredients are integrated and serve the cold canons and chicken salad.
