Ingredients to make Heart of Palm and Tuna Salad:

  • 4 hearts of palm
  • 1 can of prickly pear
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 lemons
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 handful of assorted lettuce leaves
  • 1 handful of capers
  • 1 dessert spoon of grain mustard

How to make Heart of Palm and Tuna Salad:

Drain the hearts of palm and put them in a salad bowl. Separately, finely chop the onion, season with salt, ground pepper and lemon juice.

Put the canned tuna, the mixed lettuce leaves in pieces, the capers and the grain mustard in the salad bowl and mix. Take advantage of the tuna oil to dress the heart of palm salad.
