Ingredients to make Seafood and Vegetable Soup:

  • 200 grams of Seafood (shrimps, clams, mussels, octopus and squid) fresh or frozen
  • 40 grams of bell pepper
  • 40 grams of Carrot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 30 grams of Celery
  • 1 red tomato
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 jet of olive oil
  • Fumet or seafood broth

How to make Seafood and Vegetable Soup:

  1. To prepare this seafood and vegetable soup, the first thing to do is to prepare all the ingredients that we are going to need.
  2. Next, chop the carrot and bell pepper into small cubes, and peel and cut the garlic into very thin slices. Then in a medium pot, we will put 4 tablespoons of oil, fry the garlic a little and then add the vegetables and continue poaching.
  3. Then we cut the celery into small cubes and add it to the homemade seafood chowder stir fry.
  4. Once the vegetables of the easy seafood soup are lightly browned, we add the shellfish, well cleaned, without shells (if they have any) and cut into small pieces if they are very large.
  5. Tip: If the seafood was frozen, it is better to thaw it before you start preparing the soup.
  6. Then we peel and cut the tomato roughly, the shape does not matter as long as it is not too big.
  7. We put the tomato together with the rest of the ingredients of the seafood and vegetable soup and add a little salt and pepper. Add the fish stock or seafood broth to cover and let cook for about 30 minutes over very low heat.
  8. And we will have the seafood and vegetable soup ready to serve piping hot!
