A green salad with apple, simple but very rich and super fresh, so you can enjoy food without worrying about cooking or dirtying many things. Let’s go then with the recipe step by step.
Ingredients to make Green Salad with Apple:
• 1 lettuce
• 1 can of black olives
• 90 grams of Onions in vinegar
• 100 grams of Gouda cheese
• 1 handful of sultanas
• 1 green apple
• 10 Integral Hills
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
• 1 teaspoon of spices for salad
How to make Green Salad with Apple:
To prepare our green salad we start by dividing the lettuce and chopping it with our hands. I have used a heart of romaine lettuce but you can use the one you like the most or have at home. Wash it well, spin it and let it drain.
While we also drain the olives and onions. We put everything in a bowl.
Next, we chop the Gouda cheese into cubes and add it together with the apple that we have previously washed and cut into small pieces, more or less the same size as the cheese. Remember not to peel the apple.
We incorporate the integral breadsticks divided into two or three pieces along with the handful of raisins. Finally we put the perfectly drained lettuce.
For this lettuce, apple and cheese salad you can use homemade croutons or any kind of bread sticks or grissini.
To dress the green salad, add oil, salt and a pinch of salad spices. We mix well and to the table!
If we do not have spices for salad, we can eliminate them or replace them with the spices that we have at home (pepper, garlic, oregano, cumin, basil…)
