Ingredients to make Yellow Lentil Soup (peeled) with garlic:
- 1 glass of yellow lentils (peeled)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1 small potato
- 1 small zucchini
- Salt
- ground cumin
- Pepper
- 1 tablespoon of oil
How to make Yellow Lentil Soup (peeled) with Garlic:
- Wash the lentils
- Put them to cook with the garlic, the potato, the courgette and the tomato and the onion, adding water whenever you need it.
- Pour the mixture into a strainer placed on top of a pot, and move with the bottom of a glass to strain the mixture, leaving the thick soup in the pot.
- Heat the oil, add the soup, salt, pepper and cumin.
- Let boil 5 minutes.
- If you have bread from the day before: cut it into small pieces, fry them and put them in your bowl of soup.
- A drop of lemon will add a delicious flavor to the soup.
