Ingredients to make Blunt Rice:
- 2 cup(s) rice
- 2 pepper(s)
- 200 g lean pork
- 200 g shelled peas
- 1 pinch saffron
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 cup(s) boiling water
- 50g butter
- 1 glass(s) white wine
- Oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to make Blunt Rice:
- Cut the meat into squares, clean the peppers by removing the seeds and cut them into strips.
- In a saucepan, sauté the onion with half the butter and two tablespoons of oil, Add the meat and let it brown, sprinkle with the wine.
- Season with salt and pepper and then add the peppers and peas, add a cup of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes.
- At this point, add the rice, give it a few turns so that it browns well, then bring to the boil, pour in the boiling water gradually.
- Halfway through cooking, dissolve the saffron in a cup of water and add it to the rice. Once removed from the heat, let the rice rest for a few minutes and then serve.
